Slightly moonscape-like. I think, but am not sure, that this 1990 cutting from the Phillpotts oeuvre is down the side of the hill away to the north: therefore that this must be looking uphill to the south. The question for physics GCSE candidates is: which way does the right-hand bucket fall when John Parry shouts "Square up yer tack!"
