Lunchtime portrait 3

Denise Gosling and Malc White in a lunchtime pose for Jim Irvine. Jim can't recall quite when this was - I'm guessing it's late 1980s or early 1990s. I bet Malc will remember ... clue in the camera model? Malc's beard length? Denise's shirt?

Malc says: "This would have been around 1990/1991. I remember Denise making the T shirt. I was either digging with MK arch. unit at the time or had just started at Cheltenham hospital. Probably the former as I may well have had shorter hair when I went to work at the hospital."

How many diggers can you squeeze into one cutting?

Both Jim Irvine and Dr Phillpotts are agreed that this shot Jim sent is of a packed cutting in1990. Dr P thinks the trousers on the left belong to Sally. Then Jim himself, Les Capon on the cutting edge and Paul Noakes hurdling some almost invisible obstacle. Others unknown. Update from Malc White: "Paul appears to be stepping daintily over a high trip wire. The fetching lass in shorts and wearing a yellow T shirt is Denise and the handsome chap on the bank with his back towards the camera and fondling a bucket is me."
