C-H-M was looking at the pattern of traffic on the blog on Google Analytics yesterday and noticed that someone has had a peek at the site in almost every state in America. Washington, D.C., doesn't appear to be separately delineated (doubtless because it's a federal district, not a state) but Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Alaska, Arkansas & Hawaii are the only states where no one has yet paid a visit. I realise it might take a while for word of Crickley to reach the Dakotas and Montana, but New Hampshire? What are they waiting for? Maine, Massachussetts, Missouri, New York and Illinois are the top five visitors.
Meanwhile, in the UK visits come from 219 places as far apart as Belfast, Plymouth, Norwich and Inverness. And I'm intrigued by the 23 visits from Brazil ...
Kate Dumycz says: "Possibly a digger on their hols? I know I can claim your two visits from Croatia and possibly all your "Unknown European Union" visits for August! You can take a digger away from Crickley but you can't take Crickley (blog) away from a digger!"
