Another eBay acquisition, this time a view of Birdlip focusing mainly upon the Royal George. From the horse and cart and the state of the road one would guess that this picture was taken before the First World War. The front of the hotel has changed remarkably little in the last hundred years, as may be seen from the following link. Quite a number of those attending the reunion will be staying in the Royal George in three weeks' time...
