I finally got around to taking some slides that Iain Ferris lent me into a photoshop to have them turned into digital images. I think the detail and the colours in this shot of the rampart cutting in 1979, AXV, are remarkable and show up a lot better than some of the other photos of the same cutting which I have posted. Who would think that limestone and soil could have so many different shades?
