Phil Dixon looks as though he's giving a sermon from the top of the photographic tower to a small audience of four men with bowed heads and a theodolite. Jane Dineen thinks from the relative placing of the initials 'PWD' and 'RS' written on the back of this photograph that the man bracing the photographic tower directly beneath Phil is Richard Savage.
