C-H-M and Dr Ferris are caught short ...

Dr Ferris disputes my support for Arwel Barrett's shorts in this post a few weeks ago: "While I would on many topics defer to the wisdom of Crickley Hill Man, fashion is not one of them. I think he will find that the only time in which shorts such as those worn by Private Arwel have been fashionable was in the 1940s, and only then if worn by members of the Eighth Army in the western desert." I think Dr Ferris and I are simply going to have to agree to disagree: perhaps, further, Dr Ferris has not set eyes on Crickley Hill Man's collection of shorts recently. Maybe they should be given an outing at the reunion ...
